Rainbow Six: Siege Unveils Year 10 with New Operator Rauora and Exciting Updates
Feb-20-2025

As the Rainbow Six: Siege community eagerly anticipates the next chapter in their gaming experience, significant updates are on the horizon. Ubisoft has made exciting announcements during its annual Six Invitational, particularly regarding the upcoming Year 10 content.
Year 10 of Rainbow Six: Siege is set to commence shortly with an update known as Operation Prep Phase. This new installment will introduce an Operator from New Zealand named Rauora, who specializes in offense. Rauora employs a D.O.M. Launcher designed to secure bulletproof panels in entrances, presenting a formidable challenge for defenders and obstructing drones from navigating beneath these reinforced barriers.
Upon her debut in Siege, Rauora will offer players two options for her primary weaponry. Gamers can choose between the 417 marksman rifle or the M249 light machine gun. For secondary weapons, she will have access to either a GSH-a 18 handgun or a Reaper MK2 submachine gun, complemented by options of smoke grenades or breaching charges.
Operation Prep Phase is expected to be launched soon, allowing players to initially unlock Rauora via the battle pass. After a two-week period, she will then be available for acquisition using Renown or R6 Credits.
Make sure to keep an eye out for the upcoming launch of the Year 10 cinematic trailer and the gameplay footage featuring Rauora as we approach this exciting new chapter in the game.
