Marvel Is Reportedly Interested In Having Drew Goddard Helm Spider-Man 4

There is little detailed information regarding "Spider-Man 4," yet considering the conclusion of "No Way Home," the potential directions for the sequel are wide open. With Jon Watts stepping down from the director's chair after helming the first three installments, Marvel Studios is searching for a new director to take on the fourth installment of the web-slinger's saga. Industry insider Daniel Richtman has indicated that efforts are being made to secure Drew Goddard for the directorial role.

Goddard, acclaimed for directing "The Cabin in the Woods" and "Bad Times at the El Royale," also boasts a solid track record in production and scriptwriting, particularly for the "Daredevil" series. Since Daredevil is rumored to be involved in "Spider-Man 4," it seems logical for Marvel to consider Goddard as a candidate for directing duties.

As for Tom Holland's return as Peter Parker, he has shown some reluctance to reprise his role, though this isn't the first time he has shared such sentiments. Despite his hesitance, fans can likely look forward to seeing Holland continue to embody Spider-Man for the foreseeable future. The movie is set to proceed with or without his involvement, regardless of Holland's decision.
